Congregational Update: June 20, 2025

Hello, Dear Church Family. Hoping you are having a good beginning of summer.

Please pray for Andrea VanSomeren who had neck surgery on the 18th, Rayne Mattison (Brian & Trudy's daughter-in-law), back surgery.

SUNDAY, June 22nd

• No Bible Study during summer 
• 8:30am Quilters 
• 9:30am Ruth Circle

Friday, June 27 

• 7pm. Movie night at Our Saviors for youth and families. Bring lawn-chairs or a blanket.

Sunday, June 29th 

• 9am Worship
• 10am coffee/treats

Its not too late! Bible Camp! 
Men in Mission will pay for our kids going to our camp (Luther Point).
Our church will help pay for Wapo.

Our Savior's kids are going to Wapo July 6-11, Seeds July 11-13, July 9 for One Day Camp.

June Helpers: Mary Lou Wold is our Lector; Linda Tempel will provide Communion Bread, Glen & Bobbi Clausen are Ushering, and Service Group 4 will serve treats. Looking ahead to July: Jan Everson will be our Lector; Linda Millermon will provide Communion Bread, and USHERS ARE NEEDED! Please volunteer!

In our narthex, we are still collecting these items for the Food Shelf through the end of June: Cereal & hearty soups. Baskets are in the narthex. The need is great, funding is slow to come in, and school is out now with hungry kids to feed! Please help!

MARK YOUR CALENDARS! Sunday, June 29 Barbecue Chicken Dinner, 11am-2pm, @ Our Savior's Lutheran Church (Barbecue Chicken, Potato Salad, Cole Slaw, Roll, Dessert, Take-outs Welcome. Freewill offering split between Our Savior's General Fund and the Amery VFW Building Fund. Rain or Shine!
